Disney had few details to offer regarding the upcoming adventures of Lando, as the project is still early in development. The announcement also didn’t specify whether the series would take place in the future or in the past or feature the likes of Billy Dee Williams or Donald Glover. Still, the news is quite exciting, particularly since the series will more than likely involve Glover and continue the character beats established in Solo: A Star Wars Story.
As a side, The Rise of Skywalker left the door open for more Lando adventures as we last the charismatic swindler offer to help Jannah (Naomi Ackie) discover where she’s from. Perhaps the series will explore this adventure concurrently with one from his younger days, or further explore his relationship with Han Solo.
