Emmy-winning actor Hank Azaria (“Huff,” The Smurfs) and acclaimed actress Sherilyn Fenn (“Twin Peaks”) will guest star in the second season of Showtime’s new drama series “Ray Donovan” in multi-episode arcs. Azaria will play a major role this season as James Cochran, the ambitious head honcho of the Los Angeles FBI who becomes a thorn in Rays (Liev Schreiber) side. In a recurring role, Fenn will play his frumpy wife, Holly Cochran.
Set in the sprawling mecca of the rich and famous, “Ray Donovan” stars Schreiber as LA’s best professional fixer, the man called in to make the city’s celebrities, superstar athletes, and business moguls’ most complicated and combustible situations go away. This powerful drama unfolds when his father, Mickey Donovan (Jon Voight), is unexpectedly released from prison, setting off a chain of events that shakes the Donovan family to its core. The cast also includes Paula Malcomson, Eddie Marsan, Dash Mihok, Steven Bauer, Katherine Moennig, Pooch Hall, Kerris Dorsey and Devon Bagby.
Production on the second seasons 12 episodes is currently underway in Los Angeles and is set for a summer premiere on Showtime.
