According to Deadline, Freeform has canceled the Party of Five reboot series after one season, which wrapped its now series finale on March 4.

The new iteration of Party of Five is a modern twist on the original series, which told the story of an orphaned group of siblings. The new one-hour drama follows the five Acosta children as they navigate daily life struggles to survive as a family unit after their parents are suddenly deported to Mexico. The series stars Brandon Larracuente as Emilio, Emily Tosta as Lucia, Niko Guardado as Beto and Elle Paris Legaspi as Valentina.
Original series creators Christopher Keyser and Amy Lippman wrote the pilot with newcomer Michal Zebede. Rodrigo Garcia (The Affair) is set to direct. Keyser and Lippman will also serve as executive producers. Michael Zebede serves as co-executive producer and writer.

The original Party of Five aired on FOX for six seasons from September 12, 1994 to May 3, 2000. The series starred Scott Wolf as Bailey, Matthew Fox as Charlie, Neve Campbell as Julia, and Lacey Chabert as Claudia Salinger.
