The audio series follows an idealistic journalist (Thompson) as she tries to make a name for herself by following a group of paranormal explorers obsessed with a seemingly harmless pastime known as the Left/Right Game. Her journey takes her into a world of the supernatural that she and the other members of her expedition can’t handle and may not survive.
In addition to Thompson, the voice cast for the podcast included Aml Ameen (Sense8), W. Earl Brown (The Highwayen), Dayo Okeniyi (Shades of Blue) and Inanna Sarkis (After). The ten-part podcast was written by Jack Anderson and is based on his original online blog of the same name. Anderson will return to pen the adaptation, as well as serve as an executive producer.
Executive producers for the adaptation will include Thompson alongside Automatik’s Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, Fred Berger and Justin Levy and QCode’s Rob Herting and David Henning.
