All Of Us Are Dead: New South Korean zombie drama gets series order at Netflix
According to Deadline, Netflix has officially given a series order to a brand new South Korean zombie drama titled All Of Us Are Dead, based on Joo Dong-Geun’s 2009 horror webtoon series titled Now at our School. This announcement comes after a month since the second season of Netflix’s Kingdom had its successful premiere.

All Of Us Are Dead will follow the story of a group of high school students who must fight for their survival as they get trapped inside their school that has now been infested with zombies. The series will be co-directed by Lee JQ (Beethoven Virus, Intimate Strangers) and Kim Nam-Su from a script written by Chun Sung-Il.
The series will also be produced by Film Monster and JTBC Studios as part of the multi-year deal between the media company and Netflix which they’ve signed in 2019. JTBC is the media company behind South Korea‘s highest rated drama series of all time such as 2017’s Strong Woman Do Bong-Soon, 2019’s Sky Castle, and the most recent one is Itaewon Class which had just aired in series finale in March.

South Korea is best known for its incredible treatment and creativity with the zombie genre, delivering us with 2016’s blockbuster hit Train to Busan; and Netflix’s horror series Kingdom which was also based on a webcomic series Land of the Gods. The sequel to Train to Busan is scheduled to debut sometime this year which also hails from director Yeon Sang-Ho.
