ABC and Marvel Entertainment have announced that the upcoming 12th episode of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” will not only see the return of Ian Quinn as played by David Conrad, but will see the series debut of Donnie Gill, who long time Iron Man fans will know as the super villain “Blizzard.”
In the source material, Gill was given the suit of the original Blizzard by another Iron Man villain, Justin Hammer. Gill often used his abilities for petty crimes, but also has ties to larger villains such as The Mandarin, Baron Zemo, and was a member of the Thunderbolts for a brief period.
Gill will be played by Dylan Minnette in the episode which debuts January 14th.Titled “Seeds,” the episode is officially described as:
“Coulson and May uncover startling information about Skyes past, while the team is swept into a storm at S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy.”
“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” airs Tuesdays at 8 P.M. on ABC.
