The trade notes that the revival will be a two-hour TV special, which will serve as a backdoor pilot to a regular series and will focus on the titular hero in present day San Francisco. Nash will deal with issues such as a new boss and an ever-changing world in which data-crunching and predictive policing are the norm, and figure out how he fits in with the new world.
Bill Chais (The Practice) and Johnson will co-create the special. Johnson, Chais and Marc Rosen (Sense8) will executive produce.
