According to Collider, Netflix has chosen Iron Man 3 scribe Drew Pearce to write and direct the “high-concept thriller” Quartermaster. The project has been put on the production fast track, and the trade notes that Pearce has already begun searching for his cast. Plot details have yet to be revealed.
Marc Platt and Adam Siegel will produce the project, which re-teams them with Pearce after working with him on his directorial debut Hotel Artemis.

Pearce served as a writer on a number of high-profile projects including the aforementioned Iron Man 3, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, and the upcoming Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw. Before Hotel Artemis he tried his hand at directing with the Marvel One-Shot: All Hail the King, which centered around Iron Man 3’s villain; and the video shorts Father John Misty: The Night Josh Tillman Came to Our Apartment and Miles Kane: Rearrange, among others.
