“I’ve talked to Jeffrey and we have a couple projects we’re in stages of development on,” Feig said (via The Hollywood Reporter) “It’s exciting that shortform is getting another crack. It was kind of dead for a long time, because there was no market for it. Now, because there’s so much stuff out there, this shortform content you watch on your phone that you watch for 10 minutes, that’s really important now,”
Quibi, which is short for “Quick Bites” is scheduled to have its launch in April 2020 with already more than a billion dollars raised from its investors. It has a number of projects currently in development. Guillermo del Toro, Sam Raimi, Catherine Hardwick, Anna Kendrick, and Laurence Fishburne are five of the many producers and talents who are working hard on the production of the said projects.
