Daniel Dae Kim (Always Be My Maybe, The Good Doctor, Hawaii Five-0) has inked a first-look deal with Amazon Studios, Deadline has confirmed.

Amazon Studios will have first-look rights to projects that are developed by the actor, director, and producer and his 3AD production company. Projects picked up by the studio will premiere exclusively their streamer, Amazon Prime Video.

Kim, best known for his onscreen roles in Lost, Hawaii Five-0, The Good Doctor, Insurgent, The Cave, Hellboy, and Always Be My Maybe, leads 3AD with team members that include Rina Brannen, Head of TV Development, and executives John Cheng, Head of Film Development, and Tara Brohn, Creative Executive. The company adapted The Good Doctor for the U.S., originally a Korean series, executive produced by Kim and David Shore.
