According to Deadline, actress Carla Gugino has signed up for Season 2 of Spectrum Originals’ anthology series Manhunt, this one titled Manhunt: Lone Wolf. The actress will portray Kathy Scruggs, “a hard-drinking, tough-talking crime reporter” who gets the big scoop that Richard Jewell may be the Olympic Park Bomber, a lead she follows up on and receives fame for once the story breaks — though it may not actually be the truth.
Gugino will star opposite Jack Huston and Cameron Britton in the show, which follows up the first installment of the anthology series, Manhunt: Unibomber, which ran on the Discovery Channel.
