Following the recent addition of Vikings star Travis Fimmel as the male lead, TNT has announced the full principal cast for Ridley Scott‘s forthcoming sci-fi drama Raised By Wolves. Amanda Collin, Abubakar Salim, Winta McGrath, Niamh Algar, Felix Jamieson, Ethan Hazzard, Jordan Loughran, Aasiya Shah and Ivy Wong have been cast as series regulars.The straight to series drama will mark Scott’s television directorial debut with Aaron Guzikowski to serve as its writer and showrunner.

Collin and Salim are set to portray the roles of Mother, an android with a secret past who has been programmed to raise a brood of human children on a faraway planet, and Father, an android whose devotion to his human children is matched only by his devotion to Mother.
McGrath, Jamieson, Hizzard, Loughran, Shah and Wong will be respectively play the roles of Campion, Paul, Hunter, Tempest, Holly and Vita, the human children of Mother and Father. While Algar will portray Sue, who is described as a strong, resourceful combat medic who put aside her reservations about coming to this new planet at the urging of her husband Marcus, portrayed by Fimmel.
Raised by Wolves centers upon two androids tasked with raising human children on a mysterious virgin planet. As the burgeoning colony of humans threatens to be torn apart by religious differences the androids learn that controlling the beliefs of humans is a treacherous and difficult task.
The series is being produced by Scott’s Scott Free Productions in association with Turner’s Studio T and Madhouse Entertainment, with Scott, Guzikowski, David W. Zucker (The Man in the High Castle) and Jordan Sheehan (The Terror), and Madhouse Entertainment’s Adam Kolbrenner (Prisoners) and Robyn Meisinger (Prisoners) serving as executive producers. The International rights to the series will be distributed through Turner International.

The project marks Scott’s return to the network. He served as executive producer on TNT’s award-winning CIA miniseries The Company in 2007. Scott joins acclaimed film director and executive producer Patty Jenkins (Wonder Woman), who is producing the upcoming suspense limited series, I Am the Night, this January, as well as futuristic sci-fi thriller Snowpiercer (from showrunner Graeme Manson) and the morally-complex drama Tell Me Your Secrets (Bruna Papandrea, Harriet Warner), which are scheduled for summer 2019.
Raised by Wolves will begin its production sometime this month in Cape Town Africa.
