Get ready for Mr. Nice Guy! Laura McCreary (Fresh Off the Boat) is set to write the adaptation for a half-hour “dreamed” series, according to the report, based off the book from real-life husband and wife authors Miller and Feifer. The book focuses on a pair of magazine writers who have a one-night stand, and later learn they work for the same publishing company. After each of their personal reviews of the encounter go viral, they decided to continue the courtship with plans to review the other’s, um, performance.

Schulman will produce via her Welle Entertainment with Gaspin and Tony Sabistina through Gaspin Media. Schulman has delivered such hits as The Illusionist and Bad Moms under her banner, and recently picked up Alpha Girls by best-selling author Julian Guthrie as one of her next projects.
