Lindsay Lohan has been signed to guest star as herself in an upcoming episode of the Charlie Sheen-led FX comedy series “Anger Management.”
Slated to air this April, the episode will see Lohan developing a romantic relationship with Sheen’s character after becoming his therapy patient. Currently in production on a 90-episode back order, “Anger Management” airs Thursdays at 9:30 pm e/p on FX. Sheen and Lohan most recently worked together in the upcoming Scary Movie 5, hitting theaters April 12.
Lohan can also be seen in the upcoming The Canyons, directed by Paul Schrader and written by Bret Easton Ellis.
Produced by Lionsgate Television and distributed by Debmar-Mercury, “Anger Management” stars Sheen stars as “Charlie,” a non-traditional therapist specializing in anger management. He has a successful private practice, holding sessions with his group of primary patient regulars each week, as well as performing pro bono counseling for an inmate group at a state prison. Selma Blair, Shawnee Smith, Daniela Bobadilla, Barry Corbin, Michael Arden, Derek Richardson and Noureen DeWulf co-star. Bruce Helford is Executive Producer/Showrunner. Joe Roth, Mark Burg, Dave Caplan, Bob Kushell and Vince Totino are Executive Producers.
