Andor Episode 7 showed what’s going on with Cassian Andor in the aftermath of the spectacular robbery he took part in.
While Andor isn’t a Rebellion agent just yet, the reckless man is growing more and more tired of the Empire. The latest installment in the series featured some familiar Star Wars characters. Here are a few details you might have missed.
Explained: Does Andor Take Place at the Same Time as Star Wars Rebels?
Is That Colonel Wullf Yularen?
An unexpected cameo went down in Andor Episode 7 as Colonel Wullf Yularen delivered quite a speech in front of the Imperial Security Bureau supervisors. Yularen told the attendees the plan for the Empire’s retaliation for what happened on Aldhani in Episode 6, i.e. the heist. Star Wars fans know Yularen as the bridge officer on the first Death Star. Today’s episode reiterated that he was one of Emperor Palpatine’s most trusted men, receiving orders from the Emperor himself. Yularen shared the destiny of all the people on board the first Death Star, killed by Luke Skywalker’s exceptional shot straight to the thermal exhaust port. Yularen appeared in The Clone Wars and Rebels animated series, but it’s his first live-action appearance since A New Hope.

Who Are the Three People Who Know About Mon Mothma’s Role?
Andor Episode 7 also featured a development in the storyline involving Mon Mothma and her secret mission to aid the Rebel Alliance. During the party hosted by her clueless husband Perrin, Mothma revealed to one of her oldest and dearest friends, Tay Kolma, about her need to access her family finances. During their conversation, Mothma told Kolma that only three more people were aware that she was actively antagonizing the Empire by funding the Rebel Alliance. Mothma didn’t reveal the people’s identities, but they can easily be named. The first one is Luthen Rael, who is also supporting the Rebels in his own way. Then comes Luthen’s aide, Kleya, who seems to be pretty much aware of what’s going on. The third person is tougher to identify, but everything hints at Bail Organa. Mothma and Organa are like-minded senators who have worked together even before the death of the Republic.
What’s Going on with Ord Mantell?
The planet Ord Mantell was mentioned during a harsh confrontation between ISB supervisors. Ord Mantell is the capital of the Bright Jewel system and has recently appeared in Star Wars: The Bad Batch. On that occasion, The Clone Force 99 had to save a young rancor called Muchi. Most importantly, the Bright Jewel Oversector is where the Battle of Yavin took place, leading to the destruction of the first Death Star. Yavin 4 was the jungle-covered moon that served as headquarters for the Rebellion Alliance in their first clash with the Empire. Following the loss of the Death Star, the Empire tightened its grip on the whole sector.
