In the previous episode of the CW’s Charmed, Harry concluded that his darklighter had feelings for Macy and that someone was controlling him. In Charmed Season 2 Episode 6, we learned what happened to Macy when the darklighter took her, and Maggie tried to activate her premonition powers again with Jordan.
Duet
Maggie, Mel, and Harry needed a clue for where to find Macy and the darklighter in Manhattan. Using SafeSpace’s karaoke event, Maggie arranged for her and Jordan to sing “Ain’t No Mountain High Enoughh” together. Throughout the song, Maggie tried touching him to get a premonition. It had worked for a little bit, but Jordan broke the connection too soon.
Afterwards, Maggie asked Jordan to help her get her keys out of the gym. While they were in the elevator, Mel knocked out the power, not just to the elevator but to the whole building. Maggie held Jordan’s ringed hand and saw the darklighter at Schmitty’s Ale House. She texted the information to Mel and Harry who orbed there. While stuck in the elevator together, Maggie told Jordan that someone was after her and her sisters. She asked him about his ring, which came from his ancestor. Maggie had another vision of Jordan. She couldn’t tell if he was in danger or if he was a danger to them.
Hold ‘Em
At Schmitty’s, a demon threatened Harry, thinking he was his darklighter, “Jimmy”. He was after repayment of a debt, that included setting Jimmy up in a swanky apartment. Harry wanted the demon to take Mel there, but the demon proposed a poker game. If Harry won, the debt would be cleared, and he would take Mel there for free. While invisible, Mel helped Harry cheat at the game. Unfortunately, the invisibility wore off, and the demon concluded that Harry wasn’t Jimmy. Mel threatened to engulf the whole place in hellfire, so the demon gave up the location of the apartment.
Little Red Dress
Macy awoke in what appeared to be the Vera-Vaughn house. The darklighter was trying to pass as Harry, but Macy realized it wasn’t him. When she tried to leave through the front door, it was locked. When Jimmy asked her to dance, Macy suggested changing into a red dress that she claimed Harry liked. She broke the window in her room, only to find out that the house was an illusion.
When the darklighter realized that she knew it wasn’t real, he revealed that they were in a Manhattan apartment. He wanted to use her to lure her sisters there for his master. Harry and Mel orbed there from Schmitty’s. Macy thought he was the darklighter, so he used their secret word. Harry was able to orb them back to the safety of the real house, but he went back without them.
