In the previous episode of Netflix’s GLOW, the Vegas show opened on the night of a national tragedy. In GLOW Season 3 Episode 2, the ladies had a day off.
Blackjack
Sam ran into Ruth drinking hot chocolate and writing notes on the previous night’s performance. They spent the day together. Sam taught Ruth how to play blackjack, and time flew as it does in Las Vegas casinos. Ruth won big and treated Sam to an early steak dinner. She joined Sam in the hotel’s hot tub. Sam confronted her about their feelings for each other. He felt he’d been obvious about them, but Ruth refused to acknowledge anything between them. Tammé interrupted them and drove Ruth out.
Quarantine
Bash wanted to spend their day off together as tourists. However, when the valet brought his Porsche, Rhonda vomited right after getting in. She was having a migraine and needed to go back inside. Bash reluctantly went inside with her and let Yolanda take his car.
Rhonda needed the room dark and quiet to let the migraine go away on its own. Unfortunately, Bash left and sought out Carmen. Carmen, who had been out with the rest of the girls the night before, pointed out that both Rhonda and Bash abandoned her when they got married. When Bash asked Carmen to take care of Rhonda, she said no.
Bash went back to Rhonda. She had wanted Bash to lie down with her. Bash explained that his family never took care of him when he was sick as a child, so he didn’t know what to do.
Just a Fight
Arthie had finished performing oral sex on Yolanda but wouldn’t let her return the favor. Yolanda left in Bash’s car to get a haircut. Arthie found her, and they argued about their issues. Yolanda stormed out without getting her hair cut.
Later, Arthie came back with her hair drastically different. She thought Yolanda had broken up with her. Arthie admitted she was inexperienced and didn’t feel sexy. Yolanda reassured her, and they were able to resolve their issues.
Wings
Debbie was on a plane back to LA to see her son, Randy. She brought a Teddy Ruxpin for him and asked the flight attendant to help her stow it. The flight attendant gave Debbie wings to give to her son. However, a comment from her about Debbie being away from her kid offended her. Debbie asked the business man next to her if anyone asked him that, and he said no. She told off the flight attendant and pointed out that the wings would be dangerous for her ten-month-old son.
