Scott Peterson: Where Is Amber Frey Today?

Scott Peterson’s ex-girlfriend, Amber Frey, played a significant role in getting him behind bars for the killing of his wife, Laci Peterson, and their unborn child. Reports indicated that Peterson had an affair with Frey and didn’t tell her about his marriage. During Peterson’s trial, she testified against the accused and helped the jury in finding him guilty of the slaying. Almost two decades later, Frey will appear in Netflix’s upcoming documentary series American Murder: Laci Peterson and talk about the entire case.

In December 2002, Scott Peterson filed a complaint saying his wife, Laci Peterson, had been missing since Christmas Eve. At the time, Laci was eight months pregnant, reported NBC News. The following month, a woman named Amber Frey told the media that she had an affair with Peterson. The outlet stated that Peterson told Frey that his wife had died, even though she was alive at the time. Subsequently, in March 2003, police ruled the disappearance of Laci as a homicide investigation. Almost a month later, authorities discovered the bodies of Laci and her unborn child. 

According to NBC News, police apprehended Scott Peterson for the slaying of Laci Peterson and their unborn child. After he went to trial, Peterson’s ex-girlfriend, Amber Frey, testified against him. During her testimony, Frey revealed that Peterson never told her about his pregnant wife. Her testimony turned out to be crucial in getting Scott Peterson getting a death sentence. Frey now lives a normal life and has two children. She is also a brand ambassador for Bucked Up, a company known for its supplements. Per her InstagramFrey currently lives in Fresno, California.

Amber Frey: Where is Scott Peterson’s former girlfriend now?

Amber Frey, a California resident, continues to be a brand ambassador for Bucked Up. However, it was tough for her to come out of the situation. In an interview with ABC News, Frey opened up about the calls she had with Scott Peterson after the disappearance and murder of Laci Peterson. After contacting the police, investigators started to monitor Frey’s calls with the accused, in which he told his ex-girlfriend about his wife.

During the interview, Amber Frey also revealed how devastated she felt for Laci Peterson and her family. Additionally, she clarified that she would testify again if the court wanted her to do that again. She said, “If there’s a point … that they need me to testify again, or whatever else, then I’d be available to do so. But I don’t spend my time worrying about things that aren’t really real right now.”

American Murder: Laci Peterson will be available for streaming on Netflix from August 14. Meanwhile, another documentary on Scott Peterson’s murder case, Face to Face with Scott Peterson, will air on Peacock on August 20.
