Dateline NBC returns on Friday, July 19, 2024, to revisit the 2006 murder case of Ken Juedes. The episode, titled “The Trouble at Dill Creek Farm,” will unveil details from the twisted tale that involved a person closest to the victim. Following a 15-year hunt for the killer, Juedes’ wife, Cindy Schulz-Juedes, was charged with his murder in 2019.
Ken Juedes was found with two gunshot wounds at his home in August 2006, reported Oxygen. Following his death, Schulz-Juedes denied involvement in the incident and even offered a generous $25,000 reward in return for information about her husband’s murder. Schulz-Juedes claimed she spent the night in a camper outside their home when Juedes was murdered. Upon finding his body the following day, she ran to a neighbor’s house to call 911. However, her statements proved to be inconsistent.
Schulz-Juedes was eventually found guilty of the murder of Juedes in October 2021, reported Wausau Daily Herald. The following year, she was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Where is Ken Juedes’ killer Cindy Schulz-Juedes now?
Per WSAW-TV, Cindy Schulz-Juedes was discovered dead in her prison cell on July 19, 2023. She was 68 at the time of her passing and was serving a sentence for her husband’s murder. The convicted murderer was an inmate at the Taycheedah Correctional Facility. A fellow prison inmate, Taylor Sanchez, faced a first-degree intentional homicide charge for the death of Schulz-Juedes.
The outlet further mentioned that Schulz-Juedes’ autopsy result determined head trauma to be the cause of her death. She had suffered numerous skull fractures. When Sanchez was questioned about her cellmate’s death, she said, “I hit her with my hands and my feet.” Sanchez further claimed, “I was hearing voices telling me to kill her.” Following the charges, the bond was reportedly set at $1 million.
Dateline NBC’s new episode will air on Friday, July 19, at 9 p.m. ET.
