Per reports, authorities arrested Wilson after he admitted to the killings to his father. Subsequently, the police charged him with several charges, including first-degree murder. His sentencing hearing will take place on July 23, 2024. He is presently awaiting sentencing at a prison in Florida.

According to News-Press, Wade Wilson’s father testified during the trial and revealed the details about the crime. Citing his testimony, the outlet reported that Wilson called his father and told him about the slayings. At first, he didn’t believe Wilson because he was a “good storyteller,” but he eventually came to understand the truth. He testified that Wilson confessed to strangulating one of his victims after she went to sleep. Following this, he met his second victim on the street and asked for directions. Wilson choked her and pushed her out of the car while driving. As soon as he got to know that the victim was still breathing, he ran over her repeatedly.

Apart from his father, an acquaintance of Wade Wilson also told the court that he knew about the slayings. The acquaintance told the court that Wilson showed up at his workplace and confessed to the murders. Citing his testimony, FOX4 reported, “He said he killed people and he rolled up someone in a carpet or bedding or whatever it was.” After listening to several testimonies and arguments, the jury deliberated for two hours and delivered a guilty verdict, per WBBH News.
