In July 2015, authorities arrested Jared Fogle, the Subway Guy, for charges related to child pornography and child sex tourism. According to reports, his crimes came to light after police apprehended Russell Taylor in the same case. During the interrogation, Taylor told investigators how he helped Fogle set up meetings with kids. However, several reports mentioned that former journalist Rochelle Herman-Walrond helped authorities in catching Jared Fogle. She is also a part of Investigation Discovery’s documentary Jacob from Subway: Catching a Monster.

During one of the trips, Fogle talked to Herman-Walrond and revealed his attraction toward minor girls and boys.

While talking to ABC News, Rachel Herman-Walrond revealed that she became an informant after she reported their conversation to the authorities.
