Gypsy Rose’s Siblings: Who Are Rod Blanchard’s Other Kids?

Gypsy Rose Blanchard remains in the spotlight as she opens up about her life experiences following her prison release. In 2016, she pled guilty to the second-degree murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. She conspired with her then-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, who was sentenced to life in prison after being convicted of first-degree murder.

Gypsy Rose was released on parole on December 28, 2023, after serving over seven years. Following Dee Dee’s death, Gypsy Rose’s father, Rod Blanchard, continued to be a part of her life. After separating from Dee Dee, he went on to have his own family.

Who are Gypsy Rose’s siblings?

Per South China Morning Post, Rod split with Dee Dee before Gypsy Rose was born. Later, he married Kristy Blanchard, his current wife, and welcomed two kids. Gypsy Rose’s half-siblings are Mia Blanchard and Dylan Blanchard. The former inmate appears to be close with her half-sister. The day after her prison release, she posted a photo on Instagram with Mia. However, the post has since been deleted from Gypsy Rose’s profile. Mia also shared a carousel on her Instagram as she welcomed her sister home.

Mia has also appeared in The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard. In the Lifetime documentary, she shared that she wishes that her half-sister had waited a little longer before she married her now-estranged husband, Ryan Scott Anderson, reported TODAY. “It would be easier for family time,” Mia said, wishing the family could have lived together. Meanwhile, Gypsy Rose’s half-brother, Dylan, has remained out of the spotlight, reported the South China Morning Post.

Since her prison release, the 32-year-old has become a social media personality as she raises awareness about Munchausen syndrome by proxy, being a victim of the behavioral disorder herself. Moreover, Gypsy Rose’s case has been the subject of several documentaries. The latest docuseries, Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up, sheds light on her life experiences as a free woman as she reconnects with her family. It is available to stream on Lifetime.
