“Jennifer Bailey and Paul Henson” is the forthcoming episode of Snapped: Killer Couples that will air on Oxygen on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at 6 p.m. ET. It will explore the murder of Susan Bailey. Her 17-year-old daughter, Jennifer Bailey, had orchestrated and executed the homicide, along with her boyfriend, Paul Henson.

Jennifer and Paul, who was 16 at the time, were dating when they stabbed Susan Bailey to death at her home in Roanoke. In fact, Jennifer’s 14-year-old brother had aided the couple in the homicide. The prosecution stated that the three allegedly attempted to flee to Canada after the murder in September 2008, according to WFAA.

Although Susan expressed her disapproval of Jennifer and Paul’s relationship, the motive of the murder is still unclear. When found, her dead body had a stab wound in the neck, NBC reported.

What were Jennifer Bailey and Paul Henson convicted of?

Jennifer Bailey and Paul Henson pled guilty to the murder of Susan Bailey. Jennifer was sentenced to serve at least 30 years in prison before she would be eligible for parole. Paul Henson, a Texas teen, was then sentenced to 60 years in prison. Jennifer’s younger brother was charged with delinquent conduct, McClatchy Washington Bureau reported.

Susan was 43 at the time of death. The teenagers were found in South Dakota as they were fleeing in her car. The convictions and sentencing happened in October 2009, more than a year after the murder.

The upcoming Snapped: Killer Couples episode will look into the murder of Susan Bailey and the convictions that followed. It will also delve into the possible motives that the teenagers had to murder Susan and attempt to flee the country. The episode will release on Oxygen on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at 6 p.m. ET.
