He was adored by fans, but everything changed when he married a 13-year-old girl named Myra Brown. Although this was not his first marriage, it was undoubtedly the most talked about.

Jerry Lee Lewis started becoming a popular figure in music industry in the 1950s. In the first half of the decade, Lewis was in a relationship with Dorothy Barton and married her in 1952. However, their marriage only lasted until 1953. Within days of their divorce, Lewis met Jane Mitchum and tied the knot in 1953. Surprisingly, the singer married Mitchum even before his first divorce was finalized.
Just one year after their separation, Jerry Lee Lewis met Myra Brown and married her in 1957. However, their relationship strained when everyone learned that Myra was just 13. Lewis’ professional career took a big dent after the marriage and things became worse when the media started circulating that he married his first cousin once removed (Myra). Initially, they had a healthy relationship, but Lewis’ drug addiction complicated their marriage. After 12 years of marriage, the couple divorced in 1970. They had two children.
After Brown, Jerry Lee Lewis married Jane Elizabeth Gunn Pate and welcomed one daughter together. Sadly, Jane died in 1982. Lewis went on to marry three more women—Shawn Stephens, Kerrie McCarver, and Judith Brown—and died in October 2022.
