Jared Scott Fogle aka Jared from Subway was caught in the year 2015. When authorities raided the home of Russell Taylor, they discovered that Taylor and Jared had sexually explicit videos and pictures. Furthermore, these videos and pictures featured children. Russell Taylor was the director of the Jared Foundation.
Upon further inspection, investigators learned that Taylor’s ex-wife, Angela Baldwin, had ties with this scandal. According to StyleCaster, she conspired with Jared to sexually exploit children.
In an interview with People, Tim Horty, spokesman for the US Attorney said, “What we found in Russell Taylor’s home and on his computers led us to Jared Fogle.”
However, Journalist Rochelle Herman became suspicious of Jared in the year 2006. According to StyleCaster Herman and Jared met during the recording of a Florida radio show. After going off the air, Jared apparently told Herman that he found middle school-age girls attractive.
Rochelle Herman explained the incident in an interview with the New York Post. She said, “He had leaned over to me and, above a whisper, he leaned over and he said how hot he thought middle school girls were.”
She further said, “I knew what he said was exactly how he felt. I knew that there was something very sinister about this man… Behind the smile and the friendly presentation that he puts off that was truly a mask.”
