Kaitlin Armstrong Trial Gains Momentum as Court Hears Testimony from Ex-Boyfriend Colin Strickland

On June 29, 2022, officials arrested a yoga teacher/realtor named Kaitlin Armstrong, on suspicion of murdering a professional cyclist named Moriah Wilson. The reason Kaitlin killed Moriah was allegedly due to romantic jealousy. The trial of the accused is currently in progress. According to the Daily Mail, Armstrong’s ex-boyfriend testified in court and revealed some information that would be vital to the outcome of the case.

Armstrong’s ex-boyfriend, Colin Strickland, said that his relationship with the accused was messy. He furthermore revealed that Armstrong would block numbers of females on his phone, without his consent or knowledge. Strickland even said that he was hesitant to enter into a long-term relationship with the accused.

How did the accused Kaitlin Armstrong kill Moriah Wilson?

Born on May 18, 1996, professional cyclist Moriah Wilson was born in Littleton, New Hampshire. She developed a passion for cycling at a very young age and went on to become a gravel cyclist.

Kaitlin Armstrong was born on November 21, 1987, and grew up in Livonia, Michigan. She was a yoga teacher and a licensed realtor. She and Colin Strickland were in a relationship. However, they briefly split in 2021. According to Outside Online, when Kaitlin and Colin were not together, Colin and Moriah Wilson got romantically involved. Strickland and Armstrong soon resumed their relationship, so Wilson and Colin went back to being friends again.

On May 11, 2022, Kaitlin Armstrong allegedly shot Moriah Wilson in the apartment of her friend, Caitlin Cash. Cash was not at home when the incident took place. At around 10:00 p.m., Cash entered the apartment and discovered the body of her friend, in a pool of blood.

Three bullets were shot at Wilson, out of which two were in the head and one entered her chest and exited her back. The murder weapon was a 9mm SIG Sauer P365 pistol.
