Heather Pressdee News: Disgraced Nurse Faces Additional Charges After Shocking Confession

In a shocking confession, disgraced Pennsylvania nurse Heather Pressdee, accused of murdering two patients, claimed she tried to murder over a dozen others. According to People Magazine, authorities reported that the 41-year-old confessed that she attempted to kill 19 other people.

On Thursday, November 2, Pennsylvania’s Attorney General Michelle Henry announced dozens of additional new charges against Pressdee. These counts stem from the mistreatment of 19 other patients the accused treated between 2020 and 2023 at five different care facilities.

Police arrested Pressdee earlier this year in May on two counts of murder, one count of attempted murder, one count of aggravated assault, three counts of neglect of a care-dependent person, and three counts of reckless endangerment.

Charges against Heather Pressdee explored

According to CNN, Pennsylvania’s Attorney General Michelle Henry recently announced that Heather Pressdee initially faced homicide and attempted murder charges. These charges stemmed from the deaths of two men, ages 55 and 83. Moreover, a third man was reportedly hospitalized. The 41-year-old confessed that she intentionally administered a lethal dose of medication to these three patients. The alleged crimes occurred at the Quality Life Services nursing facility in Chicora.

However, Pressdee now faces additional charges from the mistreatment of 19 other patients under her care between 2020 and 2023. The Natrona Heights nurse allegedly carried out these crimes at five different care facilities. These include two counts of first-degree murder, 17 counts of attempted murder, and 19 counts of neglect of a care-dependent person.

The outlet further reported that the Attorney General Officer claimed that in total, 17 patients died under Pressdee’s care. She admitted to ‘harming, with the intent to kill” all 19 patients and is now “cooperating” with prosecutors and investigators. Her defense attorneys said that their motive is “to not have the death penalty imposed.” The accused has yet to enter a plea in any of the charges.
