Sideshow Collectibles has released a new deep dive video into one of Hot Toys‘ latest figures — the Star Wars Super Battle Droid from the prequel trilogy.
The new figure is modeled after one of the more iconic droids in the Star Wars universe. It hails from Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, in celebration of the film’s 20th anniversary.
The figure features a newly developed body, LED light-up features on the chest, and over 18 total points of articulation.

Super Battle Droid figure is available for preorder now
The figure is also carefully painted in metallic and matte black with weathered effects, to match the droid’s look in the film. The Super Battle Droid figure comes with a sand-themed display base, and is also packaged in a specially designed box to celebrate Attack of the Clones’ 20th anniversary.
The figure is now available to pre-order on Sideshow’s website, and retails for $243. The figure is set to release sometime between January and June of this year.
