A new Lego set featuring characters from the Dune franchise is now available to pre-order, and even comes with a movie-accurate version of Baron Harkonnen.
The new Lego is based all around the Ornithopter that’s used in the 2021 film. The dragonfly-esque vehicle can be displayed in a variety of modes, and its wings can even be tucked back into itself to replicate a “landing” mode.
Lego Ornithopter set comes with 8 minifigures
Alongside the Ornithopter, the set also includes a handful eight Lego minifigures from the 2021 movie, including Paul Atreides, Lady Jessica, Gurney Halleck, Chani, Leto Atreides, Liet Kynes, Duncan Idaho and even a Baron Harkonnen that comes in a long robe and towers over the other minifigures.
The 1,369-piece model measures over 9 in. (23 cm) high, and 22 in. (57 cm) and 31 in. (79 cm) wide. The set is part of Lego’s “Icons” series, which showcases various impressive landmarks, buildings, and other memorable objects from pop culture.
The Lego Dune Atreides Royal Ornithopter set is available to pre-order now on Lego’s website and other retailers, and is $164.99. Currently, the set is estimated to ship out on February 1, 2024.
