In episode 1 of The Secret of Us, doctor Fahlada was asked to shoot a commercial. She then met the presenter, Earn. The scene is followed by a flashback sequence that shows the pair’s first meeting in a foreign country. The two fell in love as they got to know each other. However, Lada’s mother was against her daughter dating a woman.
Furthermore, Earn breaks down as she gets the news about her mother’s brain tumor. Lada then asks her mother, the hospital’s owner, to help with Earn in her mom’s treatment. When Earn thanks her, she tells her to leave her Lada. Moreover, the she adds that her daughter had been dating Dr Wisanu since before she went abroad. Earn then breaks up with Lada.
