Thai actor Chimon Wachirawit Ruangwiwat, 24, opened up about his health update more than a month after going on a hiatus. The actor went on a break earlier this year as he battled health issues. Chimon withdrew from the LOL Fan Fest 2024 as he received medical care in the hospital. Following that, he also withdrew from GMMTV Fanday 12 in Japan. The actor has now revealed the reason behind his sudden break from work.

Earlier this week, Chimon revealed that he had been battling depression in a new statement shared on X (formerly Twitter). He assured fans that his condition has since improved. However, Chimon continued and shared that he is still in the process of recovery and needs to remain under the doctor’s guidance before returning to work. Following Chimon’s announcement, his fellow GMMTV artists and fans took to the comments to pour in well wishes for the actor.
Why did Chimon Wachirawit quit Perfect10 Liners?
Chimon announced that he has withdrawn from the upcoming Thai BL series Perfect10 Liners as he is taking a break from work to focus on his recovery. The actor further assured that he would return soon and thanked the fans for their love and support. For the unversed, Chimon is popular for his on-screen pairing with Perth Tanapon Sukumpantanasan. However, their partnership has reached its end.
On Thursday, June 27, 2024, GMMTV announced that Perth and Chimon have mutually decided to end their work as a pair. The statement shared that Chimon is taking a “break from his work commitments due to health reasons.”
However, GMMTV is yet to share updates on the recasting of Chimon’s character in Perfect10 Liners. Besides Perth, the cast includes Force Jiratchapong Srisang, Book Kasidet Plookphol, Junior Panachai Sriariyarungruang, and Mark Jiruntanin Trairattanayon. Chimon noted in his statement that the project has started filming.
While fans are saddened by the news of Perth and Chimon ending their on-screen pairing, they can still cherish the actors’ works in their previous BL drama Dangerous Romance.
