This Love Doesn’t Have Long Beans
This Love Doesn’t Have Long Beans is set to premiere on Friday, July 5, 2024, at 10:15 p.m. ICT on channel One31. The Thai drama stars Pon Thanapon Aiemkumchai as Plawan and Sailub Hemmawich Kwanamphaiphan as Oab. When Plawan is hired to train in competition at a restaurant, he comes across the harsh and cold-looking Chef Oab. Plawan’s secret mission is to become the latter’s successor. However, things take a turn when the two begin to develop feelings for each other.
Century of Love
Century of Love, which will premiere on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 8:30 p.m. ICT on channel One31, is yet another highly anticipated Thai drama of the year. Daou Pittaya Saechua and Offroad Kantapon Jindataweephol are at the forefront of the new series. It follows the journey of San (Daou), who uses the power of the five shades stone to add a century to his life. He does so to wait for the reincarnation of his lover, Wat. However, if he fails to find her, he will perish in an eternal tragic death. During the final year of the century, San comes across Vee (Offroad). The former’s world turns around when he learns that the latter is actually Wat but is reborn as a boy.
4 Minutes
Another exciting Thai BL drama releasing in July is 4 Minutes, starring Jes Jespipat Tilapornputt and Bible Wichapas Sumettikul in the lead roles. It will premiere on Friday, July 26, 2024, at 11:20 p.m. ICT on channel One31. The drama revolves around Great (Bible), a university student, and his supernatural power that allows him to see four minutes into the future. Because of the sudden ability he gains, Great alters the result of certain events. Things take a turn when he meets Tyme, a resident surgeon. The pair then begins to get to know each other as they develop a deep bond.
Battle Of The Writers
Starring Tutor Koraphat Lamnoi and Yim Pharinyakorn Khansawa, Battle Of The Writers will premiere on Monday, July 29, 2024. The airtime is yet to be announced. Little Prince/Onaun (Yim), an author, finds himself in a difficult position when his novel receives a violation of copyright notice. He is accused of copying another writer, Shi Er Ye’s (Tutor) Deception but claims to have not done so, leading to an unexpected encounter between the two. It turns out that Shi Er Ye was looking for someone all this time, and that person happened to be Onaun. The two later join a team of the best writers from different genres to work on a new BL novel.
Besides the above July releases, another new Thai BL series titled The Trainee, starring Off Jumpol Adulkittiporn and Gun Atthaphan Phunsawat, will premiere on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at 8:30 p.m. ICT on channel GMM 25. Meanwhile, the ongoing dramas are We Are, Wandee Goodday, My Love Mix-Up, Love Sea, Sunset x Vibes, and My Stand-In.
