Where To Watch Cherry Magic? GMMTV Suspends Global Broadcast of Thai Drama

GMMTV has announced the suspension of the Thai drama Cherry Magic‘s global broadcast. The series follows the life of office worker Achi (New Thitipoom Techa-apaikhun), who gains a superpower when he turns 30 after staying a virgin. The power allows him to read other people’s minds through physical contact. However, things take a turn when Achi bumps into his handsome colleague, Karan (Tay Tawan Vihokratana). After accidentally reading his mind, Achi finds out that Karan is falling for him.

Cherry Magic is based on the popular manga series Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!. The Thai adaptation received immense love from viewers during its broadcast. It led to each episode of the drama trending at number one on X (formerly Twitter) in Thailand and worldwide. Cherry Magic has received an impressive 7.9/10 rating on IMDb.

On Saturday, April 6, 2024, GMMTV announced that they are suspending the broadcast of Cherry Magic on their official YouTube channel outside Thailand. The production house explained it is due to a “mistake in the contract regarding the limitations on the scope of permission to broadcast.”
