Beauty Newbie aired episode 7 on Monday, March 11, 2024, at 8:30 p.m. ICT on channel GMM 25. The Thai drama follows the story of Liu (Baifern Pimchanok Luevisadpaibul), who has been bullied for her looks all her life. She goes through plastic surgery before entering university. However, she comes across an old schoolmate, Guy (Win Metawin Opas-iamkajorn), who recognizes Liu’s old face from school days.
Episode 7 begins with Liu discovering that Guy has moved into the same building as her. Saint, who also lives there, tells Liu how he helped Guy find a place to live and even helped him to move in. After explaining the chaotic move, Guy asks Liu whether she would still serve at the Lab Bar after getting mistreated the day before. Liu tells them she will not back off from the situation but will try to bring an end to the ‘hot servers’ booth concept.
Liu discusses her new idea with the girls on the team. Despite being initially reluctant, the seniors, Milin and Da, agree to fight with Liu against the silly tradition. Liu proceeds to show them the new costumes she has prepared with the help of Guy and Saint.
Liu, Faye, and Mimi then show up at the booth in mascot costumes. The booth head, Third, is shocked to see the girls have changed their costumes without his permission. He sternly claims that the ‘hot servers’ concept brings customers to the booth.
However, Milin proposes their new concept to him with the slogan, “Creativity is the new sexy.” She explains they will boost sales by introducing new drinks and setting a soothing ambiance through scent diffusers. After a discussion, the team decides to give the girls’ idea a chance.

Unexpectedly, the booth’s new concept turns out well and starts to take off. However, Faye starts to feel jealous after Liu is praised for her creative ideas. She pretends to pass out, and everyone rushes to her side. Faye is taken out of her mascot costume and photographed by people around her. Saint intervenes and takes Faye to the infirmary.
Following the disruption, Third blames Milin for changing the booth’s concept. Liu speaks out and slams the tradition itself for objectifying girls despite them voicing their discomfort. The rest of the team and classmates begin to speak out against Lab Bar’s hot servers concept. Third finally gives in and decides to ditch the inappropriate tradition.
On the other hand, Saint stays with Faye in the infirmary and waits for her to wake up. When she does, he questions her intentions and asks why Faye pretended to pass out. Saint gives her an indirect warning and tells her that, like Guy, he will also be keeping an eye on her.
At the booth, Guy offers to help Liu wrap things up. The two then walk around the fair and stumble at the Speed Date. Liu is pushed into participating, and Guy also ends up joining just for her. During the speed date, Guy points at Liu and exclaims, “I like her!” Liu is taken aback and ends up spilling the drink on her dress.
The two then go to one of the university rooms so that Liu can change. However, Guy and Liu end up getting locked inside as the door is jammed. Liu then thanks Guy for “lying” about liking her to get her out of the speed date. The episode ends with Guy telling Liu that it wasn’t a lie.
