Thai actor Maiake Kandis Wanaroon has announced his exit from the upcoming Thai BL series Red Peafowl. The story is an adaptation of a novel of the same name written by Jun-oN.
It is one of the most anticipated BL series thanks to its police vs mafia romance plotline. Maiake Kandis was set to play the role of police Lu Yi Peng in the series. However, the actor recently announced his exit in a statement: “Due to many comments and questions regarding Red Peafowl The Series that I’ve received, I would like to formally announce that I’m no longer part of this series. Thank you all for your love and support.”
Red Peafowl released multiple trailer scenes last year unveiling its official cast. The pilot trailer currently sits at a whopping two million views on YouTube. However, the series hasn’t unveiled much information on the release window.
