Recently, Raven-Symone addressed why she chooses to stay silent regarding Orlando Brown’s remarks about her. Despite Brown repeatedly making comments about their past, the That’s So Raven star made it clear that she has no interest in responding. Symone further emphasized that her priorities are different now.
What did Raven-Symone say about Orlando Brown?
Raven-Symone has stated that she’s not interested in responding to anything Orlando Brown has said about her. During her appearance on The Jason Lee Show, the Dr. Dolittle 2 star explained why she chooses to stay silent when it comes to her former co-star.
When asked about Brown’s past comments regarding her, she said, “I plead the fifth.” She emphasized that she doesn’t feel the need to address his remarks, stating, “I’m secure enough in my bank account and my life that I don’t have to dig that deep down to take it.”
Raven-Symone emphasized that she doesn’t feel the need to defend herself, as Brown’s statements are his own. She added, “I’m almost 40. I don’t have room to steep…that low. I got a wife. I got s— to do.”
Though she refused to comment on Brown’s claims, Raven-Symone acknowledged his talent, calling him a “comedic genius.” Having known him for years, she reflected on his journey, including his struggles and personal challenges. Symone said, “I know his family. I know him. And I knew him before drugs, after drugs, during God, not during God, and he was a comedic genius. And he’s still making people laugh.”
When host Jason Lee mentioned Brown’s tattoo of her face, she avoided discussing it. Notably, this comes after a series of past remarks Brown has made about Raven-Symone. During a Cam Capone News interview last year, he alleged that she was the mother of his child. Besides that, Brown has repeatedly spoken about Symone, making various claims over the years.
