Ahead of the release of Juice WRLD’s posthumous album Fighting Demons on Friday, December 10, the official cover art was revealed that features a reference that PlayStation gamers will instantly spot.
As you can see below, sanding behind Juice WRLD on the cover art is none other than one of the bosses from Shadow of the Colossus. It’s the third boss in the game, Gaius, who resembles a knight. There are a few differences as Gaius doesn’t have curved horns, but the inspiration is clear as day.

Juice WRLD was no stranger to video game tributes. The artist’s second album, Death Race for Love, looked like a PlayStation video game cover with his name being put in the PlayStation font on the left side. He also regularly referenced video games in his lyrics and music videos, so it’s a cool nod to what is likely one of the late rapper’s favorite games.
