The quiet life of devoted couple Red (Nicolas Cage) and Mandy (Andrea Riseborough) takes a dark and bizarre turn when a nightmarish cult and their maniacal leader (Linus Roache) seek to possess Mandy…body and soul. A shocking assault on the innocent pair leads to a spiraling, surreal, bloody rampage of all out, mind-altering vengeance.
Mandy was written and directed by Panos Cosmatos (Beyond the Black Rainbow) and stars Nicolas Cage (Mom & Dad, Leaving Las Vegas), Andrea Riseborough (Birdman, Battle of the Sexes), Linus Roache (Homeland, Vikings), Ned Denny (Peaky Blinders, The Women in Black 2: Angel of Death), Olwen Fouéré (Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, The Survivalist) with Richard Brake (The Death of Stalin, 31) and Bill Duke (Predator, Commando).
The film premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival to rave reviews and currently maintains a perfect 100% critic’s score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Mandy will be released in theaters on September 14, 2018.
