Carrie Fisher Tribute Video from Star Wars Celebration

Lucasfilm‘s official 40 Years of Star Wars panel served as an opportunity for a video tribute to the late Princess Leia actress Carrie Fisher, which spans her four decades with the franchise and included a shot of her and director Rian Johnson on The Last Jedi set. The panel, hosted by Warwick Davis (Return of the Jedi, The Phantom Menace, The Force Awakens, Willow), featured Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy and discussions with some of the saga’s brightest stars, highlighting the impact of the galaxy far, far away and the fandom that has propelled it for the last four decades.

This panel had by far the biggest and most diverse array of talent representing all eras of the franchise, including creator George Lucas, Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Billy Dee Williams, Hayden Christensen, Peter Mayhew, Ian McDiarmid, Anthony Daniels and Dave Filoni.

Star Wars Celebration Orlando is taking place at the Orange County Convention Center and includes appearances by Felicity Jones (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), Ian McDiarmid (Emperor Palpatine), Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett), plus Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, Star Wars: The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson, Mark Hamill, and more!
