The week kicks off with the video game adaptation Assassin’s Creed coming home. We’ve got an exclusive look one of the disc’s featurettes that you can check out in the player at the bottom of this page.
Other recent big screen releases coming home March 21 include Pedro Almodóvar’s Julieta , Ben Affleck’s Live By Night , John Madden’s Miss Sloane and Garth Jennings’ animated musical, Sing .
March 21 also sees the release of the supernatural horror tale The Autopsy of Jane Doe , the ’60s-set crime thriller A Kind of Murder , the 1930s labor dispute drama In Dubious Battle , and the family comedy Bakery in Brooklyn .
John Water makes his debut in The Criterion Collection with the March 21 release of his second feature, Multiple Maniacs . The label also delivers their second Hal Ashy film (following Harold and Maude ) with the Academy Award-winning Being There .
Shout! Factory ‘s Scream Factory delivers a double helping of RoboCop on March 21. Look for both RoboCop 2 and RoboCop 3 with, in true Shout! fashion, new definitive editions packed with supplemental material.
Alfred Hitchcock’s gets the HD treatment with a new Kino Lorber release of 1944’s Lifeboat .
Warner Archive this week continues their Vitaphone Varieties series with a third volume. They’re also bringing to DVD-R 1967 Italian war comedy The Girl and the General and upgrading the third and final season of Batman: The Brave and the Bold to Blu-ray.
Other small screen releases include the first season of Issa Rae’s HBO series Insecure , the third series of the New Zealand drama The Brownwood Mysteries , and a complete Blu-ray set of the classic ABC crime series, The Untouchables . March 21 also brings to DVD only the first seasons of both Aziz Ansari’s Netflix series, Master of None , and the horror franchise spinoff, Wolf Creek .
Paramount Pictures ‘ ensemble comedy Office Christmas Party arrives via Digital HD on March 21, while the hugely-successful Rogue One: A Star Wars Story makes a Digital HD bow on Friday, March 24.
