The first The Shallows trailer, starring Blake Lively
Sony Pictures’ survival thriller The Shallows has revealed its first trailer, featuring shark bait/leading lady Blake Lively (The Age of Adeline, The Town). Feel the chills in The Shallows trailer below, and check out the new one-sheet in the gallery!
In the taut thriller The Shallows, Nancy (Blake Lively) is surfing alone on a secluded beach when she is attacked by a great white shark and stranded just a short distance from shore. Though she is only 200 yards from her survival, getting there proves the ultimate contest of wills. It’s Jaws for a new generation.
Jaume Collet-Serra (Run All Night, Non-Stop) directs the film from the Black List script by Anthony Jaswinski, with Weimaraner Republic Pictures partners Lynn Harris and Matti Leshem producing.
The Shallows will open in theaters everywhere on June 24.
