They showed the first teaser for Magic Mike XXL in front of my screening of Hot Pursuit last night and anyone that’s read my list of most anticipated movies of Summer 2015 knows I’m already in the bag for this one and that teaser was enough for me. However, if you’re not quite convinced, or just in need of a little more shirtless Channing Tatum, Joe Manganiello, Matt Bomer and the boys then this new trailer should get the necessary blood flowing.
Hitting theaters on July 1, the sequel to the massive hit that was Magic Mike finds Tatum and he remaining Kings of Tampa ready to throw in the towel, but not before burning down the house in one last blow-out performance in Myrtle Beach. On the road to their final show, with whistle stops in Jacksonville and Savannah, Mike (Tatum) and his crew renew old acquaintances, make new friends, learn some new moves and shake off the past in surprising ways.
The film co-stars Andie MacDowell, Jada Pinkett Smith, Amber Heard, Michael Strahan, Elizabeth Banks, Donald Glover, Kevin Nash and Adam Rodriguez.
