Focus has released the first Sinister 2 trailer and poster as the sequel is set to arrive in theaters on Aug. 21.
Ciaran Foy takes over directorial duty on the sequel from Scott Derrickson (who did return to co-write the script) as it follows the events of the first film and finds a protective mother (Shannyn Sossamon) and her 9-year-old twin sons (real-life twins Robert and Dartanian Sloan) in a rural house marked for death. James Ransone is back, reprising his role from the first film.
