Warner Bros. has premiered the first trailer for the new Dwayne Johnson actioner San Andreas, a disaster featuring centered on a rescue-chopper pilot (Johnson) and his ex-wife (Carla Gugino) as they must trek across the earthquake-devastated state of California in search of his estranged daughter (Alexandra Daddario).
After the infamous San Andreas Fault finally gives, triggering a magnitude 9 earthquake in California, a search and rescue helicopter pilot (Johnson) and his estranged wife make their way together from Los Angeles to San Francisco to save their only daughter. But their treacherous journey north is only the beginning, and when they think the worst may be over…it’s just getting started.
Brad Peyton, who directed Johnson in Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, as at the helm with a planned June 5, 2015 release date.
