Okay, so the headline is a bit of a lie, at least when it comes to the trailer for the new found footage, Bigfoot horror film Exists from The Blair Witch Project co-director Eduardo Sanchez. But it’s not a lie when it comes to the film’s poster, which features a car killed by an uprooted tree.
Exists, which is coming to theaters and iTunes on October 24, finds five friends on a weekend of camping in the Texas when they find out their uncle’s cabin is a piece of shit and Bigfoot is stalking them. Found footage mayhem ensues, all captured in plenty of night vision.
The cast — Dora Madison Burge, Samuel Davis, Roger Edwards, Chris Osborn, Brian Steele, Denise Williamson — is all newcomers, but that doesn’t mean this won’t be any good. Sanchez delivered the goods with Blair Witch and has since had a small-ish career, most recently directing an episode of the “From Dusk Till Dawn” TV series, so who knows, this could be worth a watch… at home at the very least.
