I have a fair share of Kanye West in my Spotify workout rotation and I absolutely love the fact one of Motorola’s Moto X commercials use “Black Skinhead” for its beat. For whatever reason I find that funny and amazing at the same time.
So while I enjoy the music, West remains a bit of a mystery to me. I couldn’t care less about the tabloid fodder he’s become with stories surrounding leather sweatpants, his marriage to Kim Kardashian or their child North, but as you can see, even someone who doesn’t follow such “news” can’t help but know of it.
Now we may be getting to know a little more about West in the form of a concert film as he announced on his official website. Directed by Hype Williams, all we know is it will be coming to theaters soon and below is the film’s teaser trailer. Williams has directed several of West’s music videos including “Gold Digger” and “All of the Lights“.
There is no release date or studio affiliation just yet and this may end up being a small, limited roll-out, but I’m sure once the news is out there we’ll all know about it.
