Universal has released the first trailer for Seth MacFarlane‘s A Million Ways To Die in the West and they’ve gone the red band route, which I guess is only appropriate given the film is sure to trade on the success of MacFarlane’s 2012 R-rated success, Ted.
A Million Ways To Die in the West finds MacFarlane playing Albert, a cowardly sheep farmer who backs out of a gunfight only to find his fickle girlfriend leaves him for another man. When a mysterious and beautiful woman rides into town, she helps him find his courage and they begin to fall in love. But when her husband, a notorious outlaw, arrives seeking revenge, the farmer must put his newfound courage to the test.
Starring alongside MacFarlane, who also wrote and directed the picture, are Charlize Theron, Liam Neeson, Amanda Seyfried, Giovanni Ribisi, Sarah Silverman and Neil Patrick Harris.
