Terry Gilliam‘s latest film, The Zero Theorem, premiered at the Venice Film Festival last year and has since been released in Italy and Russia with a UK release planned for March. However, it has yet to land a domestic distributor, let alone a release date so all we’re able to do over here is watch yet another trailer for the sci-fi wackiness Gilliam has to offer this time around.
Starring Christoph Waltz, the film follows a computer hacker with the goal to discover the reason for human existence. His efforts, however, continually find his work interrupted thanks to the Management, the latest attempt at disruption comes from a teenager (Melanie Thierry) and lusty love interest.
Personally, Gilliam is more miss than hit for me as of late, though I applaud him for his efforts and his ability to skirt the norm
