New ‘300: Rise of an Empire’ Trailer

Warner Bros. has premiered a second full trailer for 300: Rise of an Empire, their delayed sequel to 2007’s 300 directed by Zack Snyder.

The sequel is helmed by Noam Murro (Smart People) and is based on Frank Miller‘s latest graphic novel “Xerxes” which takes the action from the bloody battlefield to the raging oceans as Greek general Themistokles (Sullivan Stapleton) attempts to unite all of Greece by leading the charge against the Persian forces led by mortal-turned-god Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro) and Artemesia (Eva Green), vengeful commander of the Persian navy.

Rise of an Empire hits theaters on March 7, 2014. Check out the trailer below.
