Roadside has brought online the first trailer for Gimme Shelter, a film apparently inspired by the true stories behind Kathy DiFiore’s longstanding Several Sources Shelters that finds Vanessa Hudgens starring as 16-year-old Agnes “Apple” Bailey, a homeless and pregnant teenager who finds salvation in a suburban shelter for homeless teens.
Written and directed by Ron Krauss, the film co-stars Rosario Dawson, Brendan Fraser, James Earl Jones, Ann Dowd and Dascha Polanco and will release in theaters on January 24, 2014.
